Copper mesh is woven from high-purity copper wire, typically containing 99.8% to 99.99% copper. The most common grade is pure copper (C11000). There are also brass mesh and phosphor bronze mesh variants with different copper content and properties .

What are the key properties of copper mesh?
Copper mesh offers excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance, and is highly malleable and easy to cut. It is non-magnetic and naturally forms a protective patina when exposed to air, which prevents further corrosion .
What mesh sizes and wire diameters are available?
Mesh counts range from 4 mesh (coarse) up to 200 mesh or even 500 mesh for fine filtration. Wire diameters range from 0.02mm to 4.0mm. Standard roll widths are 1m to 2m, with custom widths available .
What are the main applications of copper mesh?
Copper mesh is used for EMI/RFI shielding and Faraday cages, industrial filtration and sieving, pest control (rodent and slug exclusion), architectural and decorative projects, HVAC and gutter guards, and distilling applications .
